A man calling from Bear Street in Coram wanted Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to document that someone had been in his house because things were moved around; however, nothing was stolen.
A driver calling from Wood Ridge Drive in Columbia Falls pulled their vehicle over to read a text message when a guy pulled up and took a photo of his license plate. When the driver asked what he was doing he said it was for a “defamation lawsuit.”
A Wagar Lane resident in Marion was not happy when they reportedly saw a man dump a bunch of garbage at their fenceline. The man claimed he brought back the trash that had blown from a trailer court into his yard and meant nothing mean by returning it, but didn’t think it was his responsibility to throw it all away. Parties were counseled.
A vehicle allegedly was tailgating someone and driving erratically on Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls and then two women started yelling at each other over texting and driving. One of the drivers claimed she was having vehicle issues and that’s why she was driving under the speed limit. Both parties flipped each other off and were counseled.
A vehicle with dark tinted windows was allegedly parked in front of someone’s driveway on Scenic Ridge Road and the engine was left running for at least 45 minutes. The resident took a picture of the suspicious vehicle that purportedly had “gang signs or something” on it.
A man’s key reportedly broke and fell on the ground at a gas station on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls. An employee said someone picked up what looked like a piece of metal rather than a key and placed it on the counter where someone took it.
Three men were driving motorcycles where they weren’t supposed to around a gravel pit on private property on Montana 35.
A stranger reportedly was cutting trees on a man’s property on Dillon Road in Whitefish and had a pickup with a log splitter on the back. Deputies learned the trees were being cut along an easement and an elderly man was picking up deadwood in the ditch.
A Marion resident complained about barking dogs that have “free rein” while their owners are gone for days at a time.
Extra patrol was requested on U.S. 2 in Kalispell after a woman allegedly saw two parked vehicles and became suspicious the owners were sleeping in storage units.
Someone had questions regarding people riding bicycles on the sidewalk in front of a fast-food restaurant on U.S. 2 in Kalispell because they allegedly had an altercation with someone who was backing out.
